Reflection of Practice
Editorial + Book Design
Created as an undergraduate project at Appalachian State University, Reflection of Practice was a ten-week exploration of graphic design theory and my own creative practice. Each week, I responded to a design reading through an editorial spread, using typography, composition, imagery, and visual storytelling to explore the ideas that stood out to me.
I brought the ten spreads together into a 24-page book, creating a visual record of the questions, observations, and ideas that stayed with me along the way.

A Visual Journal
Each spread developed its own visual language, shaped by the ideas I was exploring that week. Together, they became a visual journal, a space to experiment with typography, composition, and image-making while finding new ways to translate those ideas into design.
