Educated Guess is a North Carolina jazz fusion project blending experimentation, improvisation, and genre-bending sounds. I created the band’s visual identity from the ground up, starting with their logo and developing artwork for their singles and full-length album.

Inspired by their music and its connection to Afrofuturism, I wanted the visual identity to feel both rooted and otherworldly. Developed a visual language using organic forms, bold typography, and futuristic elements while still feeling like part of the same world.
The result is a visual identity that reflects the experimental energy of the band and their music.
Single + Album Artwork
Created the single and album artwork to visually interpret Educated Guess’s jazz and Afrofuturist influences. The designs draw on the freedom and improvisation of jazz, using surreal imagery and unconventional compositions to create a sense of movement and discovery.
Each piece explores a different mood within the music, allowing the artwork to feel experimental, expressive, and distinctly its own.
