Various Projects for the Department of Education, Engineering, Health & Human Services

As the sole designer for three university departments, I led visual communications and creative direction across branding, campaigns, digital, print, and environmental design. I created 250+ deliverables, including digital campaigns, print collateral, presentations, signage, photography, and social media graphics.

Community-Wide Projects

I collaborated with my departments and the Mecklenburg County community on a variety of high-profile campaigns, events, and initiatives.

Niner University Elementary at Amay James

I developed the visual identity for Niner University Elementary, a Charlotte elementary school created in partnership with UNC Charlotte. I designed the school’s logo, mascot “Normie,” signage, print materials, forms, flyers, and supporting communications, creating a cohesive brand from the ground up.

APHI (The Academy of Public Health Innovation) Branding

I developed the visual identity for APHI, a partnership between Mecklenburg County Public Health and UNC Charlotte focused on addressing the Charlotte area’s most pressing community health needs. Drawing from both organizations’ existing brand identities, I created a new visual system that connected the two while giving APHI a distinct identity of its own.

Diversity Projects

I supported UNC Charlotte’s diversity, inclusion, and equity initiatives through design, creating visual communications and campaigns that highlighted and celebrated a range of communities and perspectives.

Identiversity - Digital Learning Hub | https://www.identiversity.org/

I collaborated with Identiversity’s co-founders to create infographics, web graphics, and presentations designed to make gender and sexual identity topics more accessible and engaging. These materials supported educational programs reaching hundreds of people across Mecklenburg County.

Engage ME and WE Engage Branding

I developed the branding and visual communications for Engage ME and WE Engage, UNC Charlotte Engineering programs focused on recruiting, supporting, and graduating multicultural and women students. I created promotional materials and web design while working within the university’s existing brand guidelines.
