As the sole designer for three UNC Charlotte departments, I led creative work across branding, campaigns, digital, print, environmental design, and social media. Over five years, I produced 250+ deliverables, building identities, translating complex ideas, and creating visual systems that helped programs connect with their audiences.
My work spanned university initiatives, community partnerships, diversity programs, recruitment campaigns, and public-facing events.
Community-Wide Projects
Created visual identities, campaigns, and experiences for initiatives that connected UNC Charlotte with the broader Mecklenburg County community, from public health and education to arts, culture, and civic engagement.
Niner University Elementary at Amay James
Built the visual identity for Niner University Elementary from the ground up, creating its logo, mascot “Normie,” signage, forms, flyers, and supporting materials. The result was a cohesive brand designed to feel welcoming, energetic, and distinctly connected to UNC Charlotte.

APHI (The Academy of Public Health Innovation) Branding
Created the visual identity for APHI, a partnership between Mecklenburg County Public Health and UNC Charlotte. Working within two established brand systems, developed a distinct identity that brought both organizations together while giving APHI its own visual voice.

Diversity Projects
Advanced UNC Charlotte’s diversity, inclusion, and equity initiatives by creating campaigns, identities, and visual communications that amplified underrepresented voices and made space for a broader range of perspectives.
Identiversity - Digital Learning Hub
Translated complex conversations around gender and sexual identity into clear, engaging visual stories. Working alongside Identiversity’s co-founders, developed infographics, web graphics, and presentations that brought their educational content to life and made it easier to understand, share, and connect with. This work supported programs that reached hundreds of people across Mecklenburg County.

Engage Me! & WE Engage
Built the visual identities and communications for Engage Me! and WE Engage, UNC Charlotte Engineering initiatives focused on recruiting, supporting, and graduating multicultural and women students. Developed branding, promotional materials, and web design that gave each program a cohesive visual presence and brought their missions to life, while working within UNC Charlotte’s established brand system.
